Copyright complaints and notice-and-action

Music Intel Ltd is registered in England and Wales. We assess copyright complaints under the law applicable to the service and the material concerned. This is our operational notice-and-action process; the page does not itself represent a designation with the US Copyright Office or decide which statutory regime applies.

Reporting material

Send a written notice containing enough information for us to understand and investigate the complaint:

• Your full name, organisation (if applicable), postal address, email address and telephone number.
• Identification of the copyrighted work and, where relevant, evidence that you own it or are authorised to act for the owner.
• The exact URL or other location of the material you want us to review.
• A clear explanation of why the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
• A statement that the information supplied is accurate and that you have a good-faith basis for the complaint.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Please do not send information that is not needed to assess the complaint. We may share the notice with the person who supplied the material, our advisers or a relevant service provider where necessary to investigate and respond.

What happens next

We will review a sufficiently detailed notice and may ask for clarification or evidence. Depending on the facts, we may restrict access while we investigate, remove or disable material, preserve relevant records, decline the request, or take another proportionate step. We do not promise a fixed outcome or timetable where the facts or applicable law require further review.

Challenging a removal

If material you supplied has been restricted or removed and you believe that happened by mistake, write to us with:

• Your name and contact details.
• The material and its previous location.
• Why you believe the complaint or identification was mistaken, with any supporting permission, licence or other evidence.
• A statement that the information supplied is accurate and made in good faith.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

We may forward that response to the complainant and will review the available information before deciding whether access should remain restricted or be restored. The parties remain responsible for obtaining their own legal advice and resolving any underlying ownership dispute.
