Terms of Service.

These Terms govern your use of Music Intel's marketing site, the Musicata platform, and Music Intel Pro applications. By using any of these you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance.

By creating an account, installing our script, or using the dashboards (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. The Service is provided by Music Intel Ltd ("the Company"), a company registered in England and Wales. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

Eligibility and accounts.

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter contracts. Keep credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.

The Service.

Music Intel provides B2B catalogue analytics and forensic royalty tooling (Music Intel Pro: Musicata Pro and Black Box) and artist-focused promotion tools (Musicata: Smart Links, Hype Links, attention and momentum tracking, social metrics aggregation, daily briefings).

We may update or improve features and may deprecate non-critical functionality with notice where practicable.

Customer data and privacy.

You own your Customer Data. You grant Music Intel Ltd a limited right to process it to deliver the Service. We do not sell Customer Data. We operate cookieless by default and avoid storing PII; if you send PII, you are responsible for lawful collection and disclosure. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle data. Music Intel Ltd is not responsible for any third-party data you ingest, process, or store through the Service.

Third-party platform integrations.

The Service allows you to connect your accounts on third-party platforms ("Connected Platforms") to aggregate your audience metrics. Currently supported:

  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) - page follower counts, Instagram follower counts, profile metadata.
  • Google (YouTube and Search Console) - subscriber counts, search performance data.
  • Spotify - follower counts, monthly listener counts.

(a) User-initiated connection. All platform connections are optional and initiated by you through OAuth authentication. By connecting a platform, you authorise Music Intel to access the specific data scopes described in our Privacy Policy.

(b) Data usage. We access Connected Platform data solely to display aggregated metrics in your dashboard and to correlate with your website analytics. We do not post on your behalf, access private messages, or store content from these platforms.

(c) Disconnection. You may disconnect any Connected Platform at any time via Settings in your dashboard. Upon disconnection, cached data from that platform is deleted within 24 hours.

(d) Third-party terms. Your use of Connected Platforms remains subject to the terms and policies of those platforms (e.g. Meta Terms of Service, YouTube Terms of Service). We are not responsible for changes to third-party APIs, rate limits, or access restrictions imposed by those platforms.

(e) No guarantee of availability. Third-party APIs may change, impose new restrictions, or become unavailable without notice. We do not guarantee continued access to any Connected Platform feature.

Security and data handling.

We use encrypted storage and industry-standard controls. You are responsible for securing your sites, API keys, and access tokens. Report security issues to security@musicintel.co.uk.

Fair use.

Plans include usage limits (events, retention, sites). Excessive load, automated abuse, or attempts to reverse-engineer or bypass safeguards may result in rate limiting or suspension.

Fees, billing, refunds.

Paid plans renew automatically on the stated billing cycle until cancelled. Cancel any time in-app; charges already incurred are non-refundable unless required by law. Taxes may apply. All payment processing and billing data storage is managed securely by Revolut. Enterprise agreements may override this section in writing.

Beta features.

We do not offer free trials. Beta features are provided "as is" and may change or be withdrawn without notice.

Prohibited uses.

No illegal, harmful, or privacy-invasive use; no sending of malware; no attempts to bypass security; no use that violates applicable law (including privacy and marketing laws). Do not resell or white-label without our consent.

Third-party services.

Integrations (e.g. Slack, email, CRM, enrichment providers) are your choice and subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, their uptime, or how they handle your data.

Intellectual property.

Music Intel owns the Service, software, and branding. These Terms do not grant you IP rights except the limited right to use the Service.

Confidentiality.

Non-public information disclosed by either party must be protected with reasonable care and used only to perform under these Terms. This does not apply to information already public or independently developed.

Disclaimers.

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Identification and enrichment rely on external signals and may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Limitation of liability.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or loss of data. Our total liability is limited to fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim.

Indemnity.

You will indemnify Music Intel against claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service or your breach of these Terms, including where you process personal data without proper notices or consent.

Suspension and termination.

We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, abuse, security risk, or legal compliance. You may terminate any time by cancelling your subscription; upon termination, your access ends and data beyond retention windows is purged. You are responsible for exporting your data before termination.

Governing law.

These Terms are governed by English law, excluding conflict rules. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless overridden by mandatory law.

Changes.

We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. Material changes will be notified via the Service or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Black Box Royalty Investigator - Forensic Royalty Recovery

Black Box is a forensic royalty investigation product that recovers unclaimed and underpaid royalties for publishers, writers, estates, and catalogue funds. It operates against a 207-million-track reference catalogue covering 105 royalty territories. The platform identifies black box royalties, ISRC collisions, mechanical gaps, unregistered works, and stale rightsholder records. Output: tribunal-grade evidence packs for filing with collection societies including MLC, ASCAP, BMI, PRS, PPL, GEMA, SACEM, and SOCAN. CWR processing, ISRC health checking, and case management from claim to settlement.

StreamShield - Streaming Fraud Detection

StreamShield is a machine-learning streaming fraud detection system that identifies bot farms, manufactured streams, and playlist manipulation across artist catalogues. Five integrity classification levels: Clean, Suspect, Under Investigation, Suspended, Blocked. Catalogue-wide fraud monitoring with prediction summaries, alert aggregation, investigation notes, audit trail, and a closed-loop learning system that improves accuracy over time. Catches artificial streaming before platforms penalise artists.
