Release Radar

Why did Release Radar miss my release?

Release Radar depends on release setup, timing, profile state and Spotify’s current rules. Artist Lab turns those moving parts into a clear pre-release checklist.

What Release Radar is

Release Radar is Spotify’s personalised playlist of new releases. It updates every Friday and draws from artists a listener follows, listens to and may like.

What to prepare before release day

Give the release enough lead time, confirm the artist profile and choose the unreleased song you want to pitch. Spotify currently asks artists to deliver and pitch at least seven days before release for first-week Release Radar handling.
