Independent platforms, powered by Music Intel data.
Music Intel runs the catalogue, cross-reference and chart infrastructure that other independent music platforms build their products on. Two of those platforms are profiled below.
Music Intel does not operate BandShare or Chordi. Each is an independent company with its own product, brand and team. What they share is the data layer underneath. Catalogue records, ISRC and ISWC matching, audience and momentum patterns, and the UK chart archive flow through the Music Intel infrastructure into each partner's product surface.
For a platform building in music, the data substrate is the hard part. Sourcing it, cleaning it, keeping it current, cross-referencing it. Technology partners use the Music Intel layer so they can spend their time on the product their users actually see.
Two are live today. Each is profiled below.
World-first band crowdfunding and collectibles platform.
BandShare lets fans co-finance the recording, release and touring of an artist they believe in, and receive a share of the upside in return. Limited collectible drops sit alongside the funding mechanism. The fan funds the work; the work pays the fan back.
- How Music Intel data is used
BandShare uses the Music Intel catalogue and rights data to verify artists, validate registered works, and surface the audience evidence that informs how a campaign is sized. The data underneath is what makes the funding case defensible.
Music trivia, played daily.
Chordi is a daily music trivia game built on UK chart history. Players guess #1 singles across decades; the breadth of the archive is what makes the game work.
- How Music Intel data is used
Chordi runs against the same UK Official Singles Chart corpus that powers Music Intel's Today In Music feed. 75 years of #1s, every chart-eligible week, are queryable behind the game.
- Building on Music Intel
The data layer is open to other platforms.
If you are building a music product and the data substrate is slowing you down, that is the gap Music Intel is built to fill. Catalogue, cross-references, chart history, audience and momentum patterns, fraud screening. The same infrastructure that runs underneath BandShare and Chordi is available to other platforms on a partner basis.
The arrangement is data-first, not equity. Each platform stays independent. Music Intel provides the infrastructure that makes the product possible.
